What is Community

Community lies at the heart of the Church! Humanity was created to live together, we were made for relationships and the Church was made to be a place where relationships are born, grow, and thrive. Often life with people is hard because we all sin, struggle, and fail but it is essential to the life of a Christian and it is necessary for human flourishing! We have a variety of avenues through which we seek to foster healthy growing relationships, both with people that are like us and with those who are seemingly very different. Below are just a few of those opportunities. For More information check the events page, get connected on Realm, or contact the Church Office.

Community at CPC

Adult Education

Starting February 12, 2023 @ 9:30AM

Sunday Morning Adult Education classes are a great on ramp to community at CPC. Our adult classes meet at 9:30 each Sunday Morning, classes for children and youth of all ages meet at the same time. Classes are divided by life stage so they are a great way to connect with people facing life challenges similar to your own. See our Current Class Lineup for information on current studies.

Community Groups

A great place to get connected is by visiting one of our Community Groups, we have groups that meet around the Tulsa Metro Area at various times. These groups have time of fellowship (often with a shared meal), prayer, and discussion. These groups also plan and host periodic parties and events to cultivate growing relationships. Groups with childcare are available. For information on finding a group to visit you can contact us.

Men’s and Women’s Ministries

Our Men’s and Women’s Ministries offer a variety of regular events to foster community; from weekly Women’s Bible Studies to Monthly “Men in the Marketplace” lunches to movie nights and everything in between. There is certainly an opportunity for you to connect with other men or women for fun, fellowship, and discipleship.
